Dan Spring baseball camps are throughout the Los Angeles South Bay area (Torrance, Palos Verdes, Redondo Beach) and we highly recommend them!

They’re really good especially if your child is between ages 5 – 10 years old or just started to play baseball.

They’re very popular and sell out fast and a great alternative to joining a travel baseball team in Los Angeles.

Review of Dan Spring Baseball Camps

All 3 of my boys attended Dan’s camps when they got started with baseball and Coach Dan helped them love the game.

They would not be where they are today if it wasn’t for Coach Dan.

The reason we like Coach Dan is because he does a great job of making things fun while teaching the boys the game of baseball.

You’ll never have to worry about your child getting burned out in baseball at these camps.

Young kids will often lose interest in baseball very quickly if things are not fun because baseball is such a hard game.

Dan has a great concept…

As long as the kids have fun, they will continue to play for a long time… and the more they want to play, the better they’ll get!

Here are just some of the examples that Dan Spring does at his camps to make things fun.

Last day of camp is the “super fun” day where kids get to practice sliding on a huge water slide!

Kids can also dump a coach into a pool if they can accurately hit a target with a baseball.

Free baseball cards are given out to kids who answer trivia questions.

Don’t get us wrong.

The camp is more than just fun.

Dan is also a great teacher and he has various stations setup where kids can work on baseball skills so it’s not just “cheap babysitting.”

Your child will get better in baseball at his camps.

Who Is Dan Spring

Dan was a 3 sport standout in high school and played baseball at Brown as a pitcher before getting drafted by the Detroit Tigers.

He has been a full time coach for over 20 years.

Asides from his popular camps, he also does 1 on 1 coaching and has a fall baseball league

Dan is great with young kids because he relates well.

Dan coached my oldest son when he was 7 years old and he helped him tremendously with his pitching and hitting.

Dan’s fall baseball league is a great alternative to the the intense travel baseball schedule.

Both my older boys played in his fall league when they were 6 – 8 years old and loved it!

Every week they would look forward to the weekend games!

Dan is also a great writer and I still enjoy reading his blog today.
