Welcome to Travel Baseball Authority.

My name is Simon Chan and I’m a part time baseball coach and have 3 boys that currently play travel baseball year-round in Southern California.

There’s a lot of ugly and bad in this travel baseball world, but also a ton of good and priceless memories that you can create with your child.

Our Mission at Travel Baseball Authority

My goal is to guide you so that your child has the best time of his life without making the mistakes that I made.

I’m not a college recruiter, scout, or professional coach.

I’m just a baseball dad who wants to share what he’s learned over the years

You will find guides, my personal opinions, and lessons I learned from my personal experience with my three boys.

Our Experience

The travel baseball industry continues to evolve and I’ve noticed how much has changed even since my oldest son joined his first team in 2019.

Every weekend, I am with at least one of my boys at a travel baseball tournament and I see the changes and what’s happening, and I want to share all these experiences with you so you have a better idea of what you will encounter.

My boys have played in tournaments throughout America, not just in California, Nevada, Arizona, but also in places like Hawaii, Florida, and New York, etc.
