Hit Factory Los Angeles Review: Top Baseball Facility in LA
Hit Factory Los Angeles is in our opinion the best baseball training facility in the LA area.
It is located in Torrance (South Bay) and I take my 3 boys there 4 – 5 times a week to use the cages.

Review of Hit Factory Los Angeles
There are many baseball facilities in California but here is why Hit Factory LA stands out.
Size
The place is huge and has over 10 batting cages and also a turf area that you can rent out for infield and team practice.

The Batting Cages
There are over 10 batting cages with plenty of space and up to 60 feet.
You can do your own workouts there (like tee work, soft toss) or use their machines.
They have a lot of small details that make them special.
Hack Attack Machines
All the baseball machines are Hack Attacks and you can adjust the settings to throw curveballs, sliders, knuckleballs, etc.
They have both the Hack Attack Junior (which throws up to 70mph) and the Hack Attack which can go up to 90+ mph.
Real Baseballs
Unlike some cages that use the dimple balls that ruin your bats, Hit Factory uses real baseballs.
Pitching Mounds
They also have portable mounds in each cage in case you want to do a bullpen session.
HitTrax
If you want you can also use the cage that has the HitTrax that can measure all types of metrics such as distance, exit velocity, etc.
Virtual Pitching
I’ve seen these in Japan but as far as I know Hit Factory Los Angeles is the only place in LA that has one of these.
You get to hit off a virtual pitcher.
Turf Field Area
The turf area is great for infield practice. You can also rent it out for soccer.
Weight Room
It also has a top notch weight room for strength and conditioning training.
Air Conditioned
Many facilities that I’ve been to have poor ventilation and gets super hot in the summer!
Hit Factory is air conditioned and is always comfortable.
Parents Lounge
This is another thing that makes this baseball training facility stand out.
They have a huge lounge with sofas and TVs and fast internet where parents can hang out.
No other baseball facility in Los Angeles can compare!
There’s also tables there for parents to do work.
The lounge area is a great place for events and birthday parties.
Basketball Court
Hit Factory Los Angeles also has a basketball court that you can rent and use.
My son’s rec. league basketball team practiced there during the winter.
Events and Birthday Parties
This baseball complex will also host special events and birthday parties.
Our youngest son recently had his birthday party there and the kids had a ton of fun.
You can get a facilitator to run games on the turf field during the party.
Lessons and Clinics
This baseball training facility also has a full schedule of baseball clinics, workouts and strength/conditioning sessions that you can attend.
Their infield clinic (Gold Glove Infield) and catching clinics are very popular.
Hit Factory Academy
This place also has a baseball academy that is a full time school with a curriculum of baseball training and academics.
MLB Pros Have Practiced There
Local MLB pros such as Tyrone Taylor (Brewers, Mets and Cubs) have come to Hit Factory to use the cages during the off season.
Hit Factory Los Angeles Travel Baseball Teams
Hit Factory also has its own travel teams and two of my boys play on them.
Not only are they well organized but one of the perks is that you get to practice in the facility.
We consider Hit Factory to be one of the top travel baseball teams in Los Angeles.
Visionary Leader
Hit Factory Los Angeles is owned by Claudio Hand who has invested tremendously in the South Bay Los Angeles community.
His staff such as Scott, Julian and coaches have done incredible things in a short amount of time.
How Much It Costs and Location
You can rent a batting cage for $65 per hour or get a monthly membership (which is what I do)
Contact Hit Factory for the latest rates or to learn more.

We highly recommend this place so you should definitely check it out if you’re in the area.
